Guidance Recommendations

The Ministry of Health’s Drug Advisory Committee has not recommended acalabrutinib in combination with bendamustine and rituximab for inclusion on the MOH List of Subsidised Drugs for previously untreated mantle cell lymphoma. The decision was based on the uncertain extent of clinical benefit, unacceptable pricing and price-volume arrangement proposed by the company.  

Clinical indication, subsidy class and MediShield Life claims eligibility for acalabrutinib are provided in the Annex.
