Guidance Recommendations

The Ministry of Health’s Drug Advisory Committee has not recommended cabozantinib for inclusion on the MOH List of Subsidised Drugs for previously treated well-differentiated pancreatic or extra-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours. The decision was based on the unfavourable cost effectiveness compared to existing treatment options. 

Clinical indication, subsidy class and MediShield Life claims eligibility for cabozantinib are provided in the Annex.
