Guidance Recommendations
The Ministry of Health’s Drug Advisory Committee has not recommended crisaborole ointment for inclusion on the MOH List of Subsidised Drugs for treating mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in patients for whom the use of topical corticosteroids is inappropriate. The decision was based on the uncertain comparative clinical effectiveness versus current treatment options and unacceptable pricing proposal from the company.
