The 12th HTAsiaLink Conference was held in Singapore in 2025, where experts and leaders from the Asia Pacific region will converge to explore and advance the role of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in unlocking value within our healthcare systems. The 2025 conference theme emphasises the power of collaboration as we forge ahead together, addressing shared challenges and opportunities in the region.

Economic evaluation topic areas include:

  1. Cost studies (including cost of illness and resource use)

  2. Cost comparison

  3. Budget impact analysis

  4. Thresholds and opportunity cost

  5. Trial-based economic evaluation

  6. Indirect health costs

  7. Value of information

  8. Novel and social elements of value.1

Health services research is the multidisciplinary field of scientific investigation that studies how

  1. Social factors

  2. Financing systems

  3. Organizational structures and processes

  4. Health technologies

  5. Personal behaviours
    affect access to health care, the quality and cost of health care, and ultimately our health and well-being.2

Topic areas include policy analysis, qualitative studies or mixed methods.   

This track encompasses all research areas not specifically covered in Track 1 or 2. It can include diverse health-related studies, including but not limited to:

  1. Evidence synthesis: systematic reviews, meta-analysis, network meta-analysis, scoping reviews

  2. Data science: observational studies, real-world evidence
